Dadar, Matunga, and the Shivaji Park belt are middle-aged Mumbai: a lot of stock built between the 1950s and 1980s, well-constructed but now at the age where the external plaster is debonding, the chajjas are cracking along the reinforcement, and the internal walls carry the damp history of forty monsoons. Most of what we are asked for here starts as a repaint request and is actually a repair job with a repaint at the end of it.
We separate those two things explicitly in the quote, because a client deserves to know which part of the price is fixing the wall and which part is colouring it. Where the cracking is structural or the seepage is a plumbing failure, we say so plainly and point you to the right specialist rather than papering over something we cannot actually fix. Shivaji Park's exposure also means the west-facing elevations weather considerably faster than the sheltered sides.
