Finishes specified for Nerul, not a template
Nerul is planned, well-spaced sector housing with a mix of ageing CIDCO blocks and newer private development, which means the two halves of the job look completely different. In the older sectors we are doing repair-led exterior work. In the newer buildings we are doing precision interior finishing where the walls are sound and the client is judging the flatness of the surface and the crispness of the edge lines.
Nerul's wider roads and better spacing between buildings actually help: elevations get more sun and dry faster after rain than the tighter Vashi sectors, so shaded-wall algae is a smaller problem here than it is closer to the creek. What we do see consistently is terrace-down seepage in the older stock, and we trace it to the terrace waterproofing rather than repainting the top-floor ceiling and calling it done.
